Coconut Oil/

Extracted from raw coconuts and dried coconut kernels, coconut oil is full of vitamin E and antioxidants.

Beneficial in assisting to hydrate the skin, soothe and fight the effects of aging! Also known as a super food, it has amazing anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation in the body and aid in the treatment of problematic skin.

Almond Oil/

Dating back to ancient cultures, almond oil was used as a medicine to treat dry skin, scaring and assist general skin rejuvenation.

Rich in vitamin D, vitamin E and minerals that help soothe the skin from irritation, protect the skin from UV radiation damage and restore the skin’s moisture barrier.

This oil is a brilliant skin hydrator, it locks moisture in to keep your skin soft and supple giving you a beautiful glow. Not only is it beneficial for skin rejuvenation, to revitalise and rejuvenate the skin when looking dull, almond oil provides an overall improved complexion and more even skin tone.

Shea Butter/

Also known as a superfood for the skin! It comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree.

There are some amazing properties found within this one single ingredient! It does more than just moisturise it contains anti-inflammatory and anti-aging fatty acids that penetrate deep into the skin.

Shea Butter also promotes the skin’s natural collagen production and contains a variety of key nutrients such as oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin. With regular use Shea Butter helps to soften and strengthen the skin… and helps fight those pesky wrinkles.

Castor Oil/

At NAOH we add castor oil to our bars as a natural alternative to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate). Castor oil helps to provide a beautiful low, dense and creamy lather on application.

It is easily absorbed by the skin which we love as it has an abundance of skin benefits and is packed full of antioxidants that fight free radicals in the body. Free radicals are responsible for accelerating the aging process, which makes those wrinkles appear sooner.

This oil also assists in the reduction of clogged pores which helps to reduce acne and that puffy look thanks to its an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, maintaining overall good skin heath!

Sustainable Palm/

NOAH ONLY uses Sustainable Palm Oil and Palm Kern across all soap bars.

Why Palm Oil? This is one of the most common natural ingredients that you will find in many natural cosmetic and skin care products. Sustainable Palm Oil is 100% natural. It is free from any chemicals, synthetics, preservatives, fillers, in fact is free from all nasties.

Known as the ‘miracle fat’ that is full of Beta Carotene, a powerful antioxidant which eliminates free radicals that lead to premature aging. Rich in vitamins A, C and E all containing antioxidant properties that protect against harmful pollutants that our skin faces every day.

Lye (NaOH)/

Also known as Sodium Hydroxide, this is the only chemical compound we use in our soap bars. Hence the name NAOH it is significant to us here at NAOH HQ as we believe in producing beautiful, natural products that are free from unnecessary harsh ingredients.

This ingredient is added to saponify the oils, purified water with our natural clays and powders, to create a hard bar. This is a necessary ingredient in the making of REAL soap.

The beautiful thing about this ingredient is that it completely dissipates out and neutralises during the mixing process and production leaving you with a soap that is perfectly gentle and natural.

Wild Sea Lettuce Powder/

A special little ingredient that we use to create our Sea/ & Face/ bars, in powdered form, sea lettuce powder is a herbal medicine taken from algae in salt water.

A fabulous natural source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E, as well as highly beneficial minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper and calcium.

Sea Clay/

Not only does sea clay have many detoxifying and cellulite reducing properties it has a high mineral content. We love it for its ability to provide a very gentle, mild exfoliation while absorbing excess oils, dirt, and impurities from the skin to purifying and cleanse

Pink Clay/

What's not to love about this incredible ingredient!

Perfect for dry and sensitive skin types. Pink Clay helps to calm aggravating skin conditions including acne. Rich in Silica, which assists in improving skin elasticity and cell renewal, resulting in supple, younger-looking skin. Gently exfoliating and light on the skin, Pink Clay leaves skin feeling silky-soft and smooth. Plus, it can help to minimise blackheads and promote a radiant and balanced complexion.

Pink clay also contains copper, know to help with enhancing the production of collagen & elastin.

Green Clay/

We love our green clay as it is rich in minerals that provide revitalizing and regenerating properties for the skin. This clay helps to tighten pores, deeply cleansing and absorbing excess sebum.

A fabulous ingredient that assists in removing impurities and best of all stimulates blood flow to create a healthy, radiant, glowing skin! Great little ingredient for oily skin types providing a very gentle exfoliation while absorbing excess oil.

Yellow Clay/

Known for its ability to improve the appearance of skin, Yellow Clay draws impurities and toxins from the skin while gently stimulating blood circulation.

A fabulous detoxifier that has both revitalizing and regenerating properties that help cleanse and tighten the skin, our 100% natural clay is suitable for all skin types.

Red Clay/

Packed full of iron oxides, Red Clay is suitable for all skin types and has a fantastic effect on the skin to help achieve a younger and more toned look.

Red Clay works to draw our impurities while regenerating skin texture to promote the renewal of skin cells. Also known to assist in the healing of bruising, varicose veins and stretch marks.

Bentonite Clay/

Ok, how cool is this… Bentonite clay is formed from ancient volcanic ash that's been aging in prehistoric seabeds absorbing many rich minerals. It is a powerful ingredient beneficial in assisting in the removal of dirt, excess oils and other daily skin pollutants.

A natural collagen booster, that helps to maintain healthy connective skin tissue with its high levels of mineral silica, calcium, magnesium and potassium. It is 100% pure which means you can even consume this ingredient as a vitamin rich drink.

Suitable for most skin types, bentonite clay effectively absorbs and removes toxins, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and radiant.

Activated Black Charcoal/

We use activated black charcoal in our Black Coconut/ Body Bar and our Face/ Cube due it its amazing natural properties that help to deeply cleanse, unclog pores, remove deeper impurities and clear away dead skin cells from the skin.

The amazing way this ingredient works is it attracts toxins, dirt and other impurities that are naturally drawn to the charcoal molecules. Once you wash away the product, all of those little nasties get washed away too resulting in a smooth, supple and more even skin tone.

Titanium Dioxide/

It’s sounds serious however Titanium Dioxide is a fabulous inert earth mineral that we use a key ingredient in our Gin/ Body Bar as it is a safe and gentle ingredient that creates that beautiful thick, white base that we love in this bar.

Found in most mineral makeup and sunscreen cosmetics as it protects the skin from UVA and UVB radiation without causing any skin sensitivity. It is a gentle product that is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin types and those with redness-prone skin.

Rosehip Oil/

Harvested from the seeds of rose bushes… how beautiful is that!

Rosehip Oil is a magical ingredient that we add to our Rose/ Body Bars as it is high in Vitamin A which helps with skin healing and repair. Full of vitamins, antioxidants & essential fatty acids to brighten & repair the overall look and feel skin!

Perfect for dry skin, rosehip oil assists in treating the signs of pigmentations and aging all while hydrating the skin. We love that it is non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. This is great for those with more sensitive skin.

Juniper Berry Powder & Juniper Berries/

Powering our Gin/ Body Bars, these high performing berries are full of antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Best know to fight against acne & breakouts while balancing the production of sebum that aids in the reduction of excess oil production, resulting in unclogging the pores and removing bacterial.

Full of flavonoid and polyphenol antioxidants, which are beneficial in protecting against harmful effects of free radicals that cause skin damage. Why we love this… this helps reduce signs of aging while helping to maintain the skins youthful appearance by promoting a more even skin tone and calms the skin of redness.

Crushed English Lavender/

Lovingly handpicked from my parents garden, naturally dried in the sunshine to keep it 100% pure and natural.

From garden to body bar, Lavender is suitable for all skin types including dry, sensitive, and irritated skin.

Lavender and Lavender Oil is one of the best ingredients to naturally combat acne prone skin and other minor skin imperfections.

Natural Loofah/

We use a fine Loofah to complete our Australiana/ blend. It is the perfect ingredient to gently exfoliate, remove dirt, pollutants, dead skin cells and impurities from the skin to enhance the look of the skin.

Loofah can also help to calm inflammation and stimulates blood flow, making it the perfect natural ingredient for your daily skin invigoration.

Ground Pumice Stone/

Pumice Stone Powder is full of essential minerals, not only will you wash away your dead skin cells, improve any dry, rough surfaces of the skin it will keep your skin looking soft and radiant.

We recommend using NOAH Man/ 2-3 times a week as your all-over body exfoliator to maintain soft, smooth skin.

Pure White Grapefruit Essential Oil/

Soft, refreshing citrus notes, white grapefruit oil provides the ultimate refreshing scent with a potent antibacterial & antioxidant activity that can help fight against harmful bacteria.

The distinct properties that are found within grapefruit oil offer a variety of health benefits that including reducing blood pressure and stress levels. When you inhale this beautiful essential oil, the benefits are also known to detoxify the body and mind… Um - Yes, please! We love it so much you will find this essential oil in both our Rose/ and Gin/ Body Bars!

Pure Roman Chamomile Essential Oil/

Renowned for bringing a sense of calm and reducing stress, Roman Chamomile Oil is well regarded for its anti-inflammatory action. Often used to calm inflamed and irritated skin, to ease aches and pains, arthritis and headaches.

This beautiful oil is more powerful than Chamomile you may have enjoyed as a tea, our oil is a fabulous body all-rounder!

Pure Rose Geranium Essential Oil/

Not only does our Rose Geranium Essential Oil smell amazing it also helps promote emotional stability, well-known and regarded for its ability to help calm anxiety, depression & insomnia.

This oil is very beneficial in helping to stimulate healing in the skin from mild burns & wounds. Rose Geranium is a great mood enhancer, helping in the reduction of inflammation.

Pure Bergamot Essential Oil/

This is a magical uplifting oil which has a fresh, floral citrus scent. One of the best oils to support the central nervous system often used to assist in soothing anxiety, depression & an aid for fatigue.

Bergamot is added to our Sea/ Body Bar as it is a fabulous natural antibacterial & antiseptic oil which helps to provide a refreshing deep cleanse to the skin.

Pure Cypress Essential Oil/

Not commonly used, however this beautiful oil commonly used to calm and relax the mind has been around since ancient times. Cypress Oil has incredible healing benefits due to its antiseptic properties making it exceptional for sensitive skin. Known to provide antibacterial support that assists in the overall healing of acne and beneficial in strengthening the structure of the skin tissue as it helps to stimulate muscle tissue allowing the skin to become firmer.

Did we mention that this oil helps to regulate blood flow, lessen water retention, ease menstrual problems and sooth aching muscles… I mean hello, how fantastic!

Pure Vetiver Essential Oil/

Another amazing oil that may not be all that well known yet has been used for thousands of years in medicine and fine perfume is Vetiver. This amazing oil assists in deeply cleansing and purifying the skin through its powerful antibacterial compounds.

Vetiver has strong anti-inflammatory properties that assist in healing acne and acne marks. A spicy, smoky and sweet undertone this oil gives our Sea/ Body Bar a little kick.

We love the calming, balancing and soothing effect on the mind and its ability to promote relaxation and a restful night’s sleep.

Pure Juniper Berry Essential Oil/

A beautiful, light and revitalising scent, Juniper Berry Oil is well regarding for its unique benefits to skincare and general health and wellbeing.

It’s natural cleansing and purifying abilities help to clear the skin, treat acne, balance oily skin and unblock clogged pores. It is also beneficial to skin suffers with dermatitis and eczema.

The perfect addition to our Gin/ Body Bars for the ultimate in a gentle exfoliation and deep cleanse.

Lavender Essential Oil/

Calming, relaxing and sedative, Lavender Essential provides a range of wellbeing benefits. Stress relieving, sleep inducing, and calming nervous tension with its sedative properties.

Beautiful sweet and floral scents, help with treating respiratory related problems and have been known to reduce pain and enhance blood circulation.

The natural cleansing and detoxifying properties also makes it incredibly beneficial for the skin.

Eucalyptus Blue Gum Essential Oil/

Be whisked away to a beautiful Australiana/ bush retreat with the scent of this oil. Fresh, natural and uplifting, Eucalyptus Blue Gum is known for its ability to ease asthma and other inflammatory respiratory diseases. It is also a fabulous oil that eases muscle and joint aches and pains while helping to improve circulation.

Nerolina Essential Oil/

Refreshing and soft, Nerolina is perfect for balancing the mind, improve sleep, relieving stress and anxiety, to promote an all over calm. On skin effects,

Not only does it smell fabulous, it has a wide range of benefits for the skin including assisting with mild acne, fungal infections, dermatitis and oily skin. It can even assist to treat dry scalps, hair loss and helps to strengthen hair.
